How do I make a reservation?
Please fill out the Reservation Inquiry form which is under the Rates & Reservation tab. We will get back to your within a few days. If we don’t, you can email us at office@pkcc.org.
Why are there two different prices?
IHPBC is a collective of cooperating SBC churches in Hawaii and around the Pacific that share ownership of PKCC. Because of this, HPBC churches and affiliated organizations receive a discounted rate for their stay.

How can I volunteer or have a work day?
With such a big property there are always projects to do and we would love the help! If interested in volunteering or having a work day with us please email office@pkcc.org. If interested in long-term volunteering please let us know and we can let you know what can be done.
Campfire hours
If paying for a campfire, please let us know the day and time you would like to have it. Campfires are started and ended by PKCC staff only. All campfires need to end by 10pm which is the start to our quiet hour time.
Why does the Entire Facility not include all the private rooms?
The Entire Facility rental includes ALL Bunkhouses (Barker, K-Cottages, and Peterson), ALL Meeting spaces (Plantation Hale 1st and 3rd floor, Plantation Hale Kitchen, and Komohana), and Grounds. Which max capacity is 149. Privates room (Plantation Hale 2nd floor and Hikina) are an additional cost because they have linens provided, mini fridge, microwave, and single serve coffee maker (in Hikina) and more private rooms. They also require more work to get ready due to the laundry for linens.
Does Pu’u Kahea provide food services?
During the 2026 season we will not be having food services. Each group is required to cater, provide, and/or cook their own food for their stay. The kitchen in the Plantation Hale will be available for an additional fee which includes ice machine, cookware/utensils, storing, cooking, warming, and serving meals.
Komohana and Peterson Hale both have kitchens in them. There will be some cooking tools and cookware in those kitchens.
If renting the entire facility, the Plantation Hale and Komohana kitchen fee is included.
*Peterson kitchen is available to use at an additional cost*
What are the cleaning requirements while staying at the camp?
Throughout your stay/camp, please make sure that you clean up after yourself and group. We provide cleaning supplies, trash bags, brooms/dustpans, and mops if renting the meeting spaces. If renting private rooms we provide brooms and dustpans. Our dumpster gets emptied every Wednesday mornings. By doing your part to keep our facilities clean helps us serve more groups and turn over the camp quicker. If spaces are not left in good condition we will need to charge an excessive cleaning fee of $300+.
What is the capacity of your facility?
We have the capacity to sleep 187 people. Which means every bed in the bunkhouses (149) and every bed in the private rooms (38) with two per full and queen size bed is filled.
Do you charge per person or have a flat rate for each space?
We rent the each space at a flat rate.
