Without volunteers, PKCC would not be able to offer the price, service, quality of meals and upkeep of buildings at an affordable price. We offer a place for souls to come to Christ or dedicate themselves to service. Over the last 62 years, hundreds if not thousands have accepted Christ, rededicate their lives or decicated their lives to full time service to Him and you are a part of all of this when you serve Him here. So we would like to thank you for your service to our Lord at this place.
There are many jobs/projects to be done at PKCC, here are a few: Painting, minor repair of facility, remodeling, maintenance, cleaning, laundry, preparing for meals, making drinks for meals, serving food, clean up after meals, washing dishes, stripping and making beds, greeting groups coming in, getting materials ready for work teams, cutting grass, trimming grass, watering, weeding and trimming plants, the list goes on and on. The most important thing is to be flexible and willing to serve!
If you are in good physical shape and have a background in light maintenance or construction this may be a good mission trip for you.
You will need to provide: Your own airfare, spending money, meals when groups are not staying at the center, and gas money for vehicle when used for your personal use.
Most Important of all: Is to be flexible and willing do a variety of jobs.
We work about 40 hours a week or so and try our best to take 2 days off a week. Many times volunteers will have different days off for availability of vehicles.
