Pu`u Kahea
Conference Center
E Komo Mai
Pu’u Kahea, when translated from Hawaiian, means "Hill of Calling". Pu’u Kahea Conference Center (PKCC) was established in 1949 when the Hawaii Baptist Convention (now known as Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention) purchased the property in Waianae that was part of a former sugar plantation. They wanted to provide a camp facility for the churches within the convention.
Today, we are still owned and operated by the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention and carry on that same purpose and more. We host groups and individuals in a beautiful retreat setting on the west side of Oahu. Sitting on 11 beautiful acres in Waianae, PKCC has eight buildings that provide overnight accommodations for up to 187 people.
Our focus is to provide a place where groups and individuals can get away from the routine of their daily lives to fellowship, minster to one another, and seek to grow in the Lord together.
We strive to provide a pleasant and safe environment for your stay at PKCC. We are a non-smoking, no alcohol, no drugs and no cursing facility. We expect our guests to act according to Christian principles.
We are a "Cost Recovery Ministry", which means that we operate solely on the funds generated by those who use PKCC and by the donations of gracious supporters. Mahalo!
Ephesians 2: 8-10
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
